A paradise on Rote Island
We had a dream stay in Manduna!! The word that sums up this place: “paradise” Everything is exceptional! The perfect location on the beach facing the lagoon and the ocean. The rooms, the decor, the atmosphere, the swimming pool, the restaurant, the numerous activities, the equipment (outdoor gym, tennis court and beach volleyball, steam room, ice bath, etc.) We loved kayaking in the mangrove and ATVs to explore the island. A big plus for the sauna with eucalyptus oils to relax after surfing or sports... We were able to observe the most beautiful starry sky since the start of our trip from Manduna! And the staff was very attentive to our needs and always ready to make the stay even more pleasant. Elias always accompanies us with a smile during the different activities. Lanna is also very attentive and organizes your stay to perfection. A big thank you to the whole team, very professional, discreet but always available and responsive. Paradise with great internet
The impressive guest service starts at Manduna resort before you even arrived at the Resort. Manduna organized for me a driver in Kupang , had a amazing recommendation where to stay and what to do in Kupang . At my relaxed arrival in Rote Island i was greeted with a smile. My stay with Manduna Resort was relaxing, inspirational and through the fast internet at the resort a productive holiday. Defiantly will come back to this well designed Resort. I spent 3 nights at Manduna resort I found the location to be one of the best around Nembrala the outlook from the rooms are sensational The rooms are very tastefully done and always kept clean to a very high standard The bedding was so comfortable and bed was huge There are great facilities including a Yoga/ gym area and a beautiful pool I found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating to all my needs. Paradise
Well, our stay at Manduna is going to be hard to top. We stayed during the shoulder season and had the property to ourselves for a couple of days (we are not surfers). There was another couple there for the other two days we were there. We stayed in the beachfront room. It was unbelievably perfect. The view of the white and pink sand beach is second to none (there is also a tiny little flounder that is the same color as the sand that lives in the tide pools - white with pink spots 💗). There are the occasional goats and cows and a few locals on the beach. Aside from that, the place is a deserted paradise. The staff is amazing and took great care of us. Amenities, pool, food, service, design is all top-notch. The owner, Eduardo, is a super cool guy. He’s done a fabulous job of curating a dream boutique resort. There is plenty to do if you are looking for activities. Don’t miss Lake Nirvana. But honestly I was a touch sad every time I left the property because it is so nice. Honeymoon stay
Had a fantastic stay at Manduna for our honeymoon. We did 5 nights and it was definitely not enough! Spectacular resort, right on the most beautiful beach. Very quiet as it is just outside of the main town, which was perfect for our honeymoon. Each morning I used a moto to go 10 minutes get to the harbor to surf, then we would either relax or go for an adventure on the island organized by Manduna. Lots of options to choose from, but we ended up going to the local market, kayaking in the Nirwana lagoon and kayaking the mangrove forest. The food at Manduna is unbeatable. Felt like we were really treating ourselves each time we are a meal there. They were very accommodating for any dietary needs or food preferences. It's a pleasant work-cation experience.

Best month of our lives
Hard to know where to start - this place is our absolute paradise on earth! My wife and I came here last year for 10 days and loved it, so we decided to come back for 4 weeks this year. Unfortunately we have just left what was hands down the best holiday we have ever had! The weather was perfect, surf was amazing, and the Manduna experience was exceptional. We eat plant based and the full board food is world class. Outside of surfing, we made full use of the amazing pool, gym, steam room, ice bath, slack line etc. it’s safe to say we were sleeping very well in the lovely rooms each night! We think Rote is the most special place on earth, and we can’t believe our luck finding Manduna. Piece of paradise in Rote
Amazing stay at Manduna. Beautiful place with stunning views. Loved the room super comfortable and beautiful decor with outside bathroom. Enjoyed all the facilities like the pools and gym areas. The owner and manager were the most welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay an amazing experience. Food was also delicious and super healthy. Highly recommend this piece of paradise
