It’s wonderful staff it’s owner Eduardo and all of its facilities (gym, with all you need , quads, motorbikes, kayak, paddle surf, jetski, excursions, sauna and icebath etc) have made this trips one of the best in our 2 years living in Indonesia.
Everything is easy at Manduna you don’t need to worry about anything.
The food is great and super flexible if you have allergies or a kid that eats specific things.
The timing of the meals is super flexible as well.
The team always looking to help you and available instantly.
We also had a good bye bonfire with dinner at the beach the last day.
The mood is so good and contagious that you will enjoy a perfect vacation at a relaxed place with relaxed people!

They showed us around, took us to yoga and the local markets, gave helpful advice on activities and places to visit, arranged for a laundry to wash our clothes and when I became ill took me to the doctors. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view. The bed was super comfy. We loved the outdoor bathroom. The pools, outdoor gym and sauna are fantastic. The food was healthy and fresh. Lunch and dinner were mainly seafood. We recommend going to other resorts and warungs for some meals as it can become a bit monotonous eating there for every meal. The surf was amazing and Manduna organize motor scooters for you and the boat to take you out to the surf. The sunsets are sensational. Amazing place. We had a fabulous holiday and will be back! read less

The owners and staff... read moreI have traveled a lot and the MANDUNA RESORT IS HONESTLY THE BEST RESORT I’VE EVER STAYED AT AND IS NOW MY FAVORITE PLACE TO VACATION. The owners and staff have created one of the best and most unique boutique hotels in the world in a wonderful location. It has all of the best parts of a big five-star resort but packaged into a personalized boutique experience.

It is not just a nice place to stay; IT IS A FULL EXPERIENCE. From your arrival to your departure, everything is arranged to your needs. The room itself is super clean, comfortable (especially the bed), and spacious. The facilities are all beautiful and it’s clear the quality and cost that went into it. Nothing feels cheap or slapped together. You can find the detailed list of facilities on the website but my favorite routine is doing the steam room into ice bath then jumping in the pool and walking out onto the beach to snorkel in the reef. They give you a motorcycle/scooter to buzz around town and cruise around the local spots. There are also 3 boats on standby all day to take you to the surf spots as many times as you’d like. The captain is a legend and he took me out to watch people surf when the waves were double-overhead.

We got the full 3 meals package and the food is incredible. CHEF NICO IS LEGIT and in the 2 weeks we stayed here he didn’t repeat a single meal. The food is super fresh and they were able to work around our long list of food allergies. They have an a la carte menu too and I had an açai bowl just about every afternoon. The thing that makes this place really special is the Manduna community of staff and the owners. They are the happiest and most amazing people. Anything we needed, “just ask” and they try to make it happen. They really stand out as the thing that made this trip special.

There’s too much to say about this place. It’s ridiculous. Rote on its own is already amazing, but you pair it with a stay at Manduna and it really becomes a one-of-a-kind experience. If you’re worried about the price, it’s absolutely worth the value you pay for. Such a unique pleasure to stay at Manduna. We will be coming back, guaranteed! We enjoyed the food on site and had so many great açai smoothies and delicious meals throughout our stay, highly recommend it!
The accommodations were absolutely incredible! The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated, very clean and comfortable bedding!
